Happy New Year!

I went to church for New Years service and the sermon along with an animation really got me thinking and reflecting.

With the new year here comes a year to start over with a clean heart to serve God with. Along with that comes the traditional New Years resolution. I've never been able to keep them in the past but this year I'm determined and I believe that I can do it with God's strength and guidance.

(Not in any specific order)
1. I will love God with all my heart, body, mind, and soul.
2. I will obey my parents to honor God.
3. I will study hard in order to glorify God and his will for me for my future.
4. I will worry less about the small things and pray about it instead.
5. I will stop clinging on to my sins and focus on Jesus.
6. I will seek God with my all.
7. I will love my neighbors as myself.
8. I will stick to the Word at all times even in times of joy.
9. I will ask for wisdom and humility.
10. I will stop thinking about myself and care for others first.

Of course I'll make a mistake from time to time but I believe that with God's strength, prayer, and accountability, it'll all work out.
